Wrasse not finding sand in QT

Hello... I have a yellow coris wrasse in a 15 gallon qt with a large tupperware filled with sand. She's not finding the sand. Lights just went out and for the 2nd night she is just cruising the bottom glass, looking like she wants sand. Any tricks?

Take the sand out, its not needed ive qted several sand dwelling wrasses with bare bottom and they were fine. I just put in a binch of various sized pvc pipes ranging from 1/2" to 2" diameter and they slept in one of the pipes.

Should find the sand eventually.

He found it, just don't like it yet.
Dump it in the tank, clean it out when done.
