Has anyone been?

The store is within Mohegun Sun and has a huge display of fish within the entrance. Inside the shop they have reef tanks and fish only displays. The reef tanks are nice but they have a clown tank with hundreds of clowns in it. Every single clownfish is beat up (fins and flesh). They must fight all of the time. Pretty sad. I have been there many times but never noticed how damaged the clowns were.

They also had a display tank in the back of the shop with 3 black tip reef sharks which was pretty cool.

I was jsut there but did not see the store. I saw a store where the enterance had a huge fish thank that was on both sides and over the top with lots of SW fish in it. IS that the same store?

I have some pictures of it. Petty cool setup. The sharks are cool and I believe they have the lion fish setup too. I was going to post the pictures but they are pretty bad and I'm embarrassed of them. :frown: The fish only display that they have in front of the store is pretty impressive.

The store is located near the kid's arcade.

Yep, that's the same store. I've been there a few times. The store entrance is an arched tank. You walk underneath the 'bridge' of the arch and it has two very nice (read large) tanks on either side of the entrance.

The clownfish display is about 8' or 9' tall. Mega hundreds of clowns in there. And yes, I saw them beat up.

The one true reef display was completely covered in bubble algae the last time I was there.

Why are you otherwise bright reefers wasting your time, not to mention losing your money!!, at rip off gaming joints? Buy more fish and coral instead. This is advise from a reformed whore. :skull: :thrash: :bunnies: :shocked: :irked: :banghead: :smash:

I was there over the weekend too. I think you won my money! I went into that store also. I was surprised at the condition of the clowns because the other tanks seemed to be fairly well taken care of.

To answer Bergerd, there seem to be a few things that Asians (myself included) are into: aquaria and gambling!

I was there last week but didnt get past the craps table to see the tanks. I too walked away a winner that day. Looks like alot of us won there the past week. Paid for my 88lbs of live rock and some extra equipment

It feels good when you win doesn't it? I have done a lot of winning but also a lot of losing. You feel on top of the world when you walk away with a boat load of money!
