ok after asking alot of question some seeming stupid, but purposeful, i have decided to stay with a 29 high, but i do want to get a new tank as mine is old. id prefferably like to get a acrylic tank with overflow and return pre-drilled. then id use my 29 i have as a sump, with the overflow leading into chamber with skimmer.{etts deluxe}<already have soskimmer is covered either way, then want to use next chamber for sand and rock covered with chaeta sp ? then thin wal for over flow type then return pump in smaller last chamber{hopefully nice pull effect} with a small coralife compact to cover it.also have a old time venturing with air pump runs on it,{does pretty good actually} i have a current 130w with new 10k and new dual antic. but want to buy one more light fixture. kinda want a mh even though i dont need it or wont need it.{pro's cons} single t5 would be nice in a antic and run 2 10 or a 10 and a 65 k for broader light spec. this is what i plan to do, few comments made me rethink. this way cost alot less and alot less to maintain plus tank will cover sooner. all thoughts or idea's appriciated. your right build the best tank with what you have. and big isnt always better :shhh: sorry for such a long post but want to cover all base's. i do weekely water change's know i need to let back on light time. ad keep my water meas in check 0 0 490 cal 8.2 ph
