I have a friend that setting up a new RODI system 180 Gpd he is setting up a in-line flow restrictor i'm comparing it to a friends I see he has a much longer needle what are the pros and cons of having a long or short needle in the flow restrictor

Would also recommend to use a 75-100 gpd membrane, unless your water pressure is hi, or you run a booster pump
