can also stand on the floorI might need to strap them to one of the sides of the stand as opposed to hanging them off of my sump.
correctI am assuming that they can not be mounted horizontally, but need to be vertical?

you can run Phosguard (by Seachem) with carbonthis might be a silly question but can you have phosban and carbon in one reactor??
Than should I use half of the recommended dosage for the first time?
I did initially. Nowadays, I double the dosage since I've been running Phosban for months now. I guess it all depends on how high your levels are.

You can but I don't think thats a good idea.
The carbon tends to need replacement much quicker than the phosphate removing media. It is more of a convenience factor in my opinion.

Why don't you think that this is a good idea. If you run half the recommended amount for your 140, how much would I need for my 65, and what would be wrong with filling the extra space with carbon. Lets say I use equal volumes of carbon and phosphate remover. Why couldn't/shouldn't I use the carbon on the bottom and phosphate remover on the top, and seperate the phosphate remover from the carbon with some polyfilter or something else.
