question I have a reef octopus varios dc wit a float switch its da sss150 skimmer had it 4 a couple of months it was workin flawlessly but now but 4 some reason its going haywire water is level supposed to b between 6'n 8' i have it n between at 7' i lowered it n raised it n still goin haywire i cleaned it from top 2 bottom n placed it bk still same issue can anyone help or do i need to call coralvue thnks

So should I disconnect da float switch n let it keep overflowing until it breaks in ?

Did you recently add any supplements to the tank? Also can be a good idea to turn it off during feeding. Anything that changes the viscosity of the water surface can cause this. You can leave it overflowing or you can turn it way down.

So should I disconnect da float switch n let it keep overflowing until it breaks in ?

I would tune it down until it stops overflowing and leave it like that for a few days or as needed

I've turned it down but it will keep overflowing then cuts off bcuz of da float switch I've added nothing 2 da tank as far as addivites as far as feeding I shut it off I've noticed only way it slows down is when I block da silencer
