I started with kalk water for top off and moved over to using two part. I couldn't keep up with my systems demand for calcium and alakalinity. I only use two part as it is to measure out a controlled amount of calcium and alakalinity to the system. I kow exactly how much I use and exactly how much I am adding.
It would seem to me that if you are going to add both two part and top off water saturated with Kalk, that would need to adjust the amount of two part you are adding, to account for home much water you are evaporating.
I to had what I considered to be low PH, this problem partially adjusted itself when I regained control over my alkalinity levels.
