If its live rock with live coral, then you can use a dip like was recommend, although those dips wont take care of aptasia which you will need some peppermint shrimp to take care of.

If you have live rock and you're soaking it in hypersalinity, you're killing the rock and may as well be buying dry rock.

Agreed. The rock will adsorb (look it up if you don't know what that means :)) all of that extra salt and leach it back into your tank possibly changing the salinity and very possibly killing any coral you attach to that rock.
