Time For An Upgrade

I have a 300g sps tank. I recently got a bigger sump and I'm thinking about adding additional fuge and frag tank to the system. I know my skimmer is not efficient enough for everything. So I wanted to see what skimmer yall Reefers is running with a 400g plus tank?

Would say keep whatever skimmer you have and add an algae scrubber. A bigger fuge is a good thing too.

My tank is not that large but i would suggest one of the NYOS skimmers. I'm running the 160 on my sps tank and its a beast. I think the 220 would be good for your size tank.

I dont have room for a fuge. Had an algae scrubber on it till it started leaking. Even with the scrubber on my phosphates was getting down low enough.

Lol, thats out my budget. But I was able to get my hands on a RO that will work for my setup

If no room for a big fuge, than a bio pellet reactor fed into a skimmer would be my next move.
