Emperor uv questions

Ok so I'm looking into emperor aquatics uv lights. I want the 40 watt size. But I'm trying to decide between the smart and the smart lite. Other than the lite having a thinner main tube diameter are there any other differences? Their site doesn't let u look at the lite model specs so I'm kinda in the dark. Space isn't a huge issue for me but I can get a lite cheaper than the regular smart model. Any input is appreciated.
