Moon Snails reef safe?

are Moon Snails ok for reefs? Polinices species....

I don't recommend them because of two reasons. They are a cold water species and the warmer waters of our tanks increase their metabolism shorten their life. Secondly is their diet which primarily clams. I found one down at the beach a few years ago and put it in my fuge. I didn't want to chance it in the reef with corals. It was nocturnal and I don't think it lasted a year with weekly feedings of clam.
