Seaclone Skimmer Good Or Bad?

I have a 20 Gal and wanted to add a hang on skimmer that I could also use on my nano cube from time to time I was looking at the seaclone 100 the price looks good $64.99 at pet solutions and wanted to know If this skimmer works well or can some recommend a hang on one.....

Remora or remora pro, From what I understand the coralifes are ok, the bermuda hang on sounds ok as well. Bak Pak I have never used but Iheard it can be ok. I had a seaclown and a prism and I currently have a remora and I find that the prism and the seaclown were useless.

Cibo thank goodness for these coral websites or a lot more of us would be buying these stupid skimmers. I owned one 10 years ago and I though it was the best thing since swiss cheese The Aqua C Remora is decent for a 20gal.

If you can afford a Remora, go for that....If its a choice between nothing or a Seaclone, then go for the seaclone...the newer ones are better than the original design. Mine works well enough most of the time, but the venturi needs to get the salt cleared every few days.. Now if it was a choice between nothing and a Prizm, I'd definitely go for nothing..........same thing, just different $$$! Take care, Eric

There are mods that have been made to the Seaclones that make them work much better. I have one that I put a longer and larger plastic tube in the middle that concentrates the bubbles towards the riser tube. It kicks out so much junk that even I was surprised. I had it on a 20L. I keep it around because you never know when you might need it.
