Okay, I have been doing some research, but there are a lot of old threads out there and would like more updated information.
I am currently running 2 Current Orbit Marine (ramp timer pro) lights on my 20 long tank. Dimensions are 30x12x12.
All the corals are doing great, but I eventually want to upgrade to stronger lights so I can start growing some SPS corals.
Because my tank is long (30 inches) & shallow, I am wondering what lighting would be best. Do I have to buy 2 lights to cover the whole tank? or will 1 light suffice?
If you can recommend brands that would be very helpful! thanks!
Current setup:
Equipment:
-Tetra Whisper ex30
-Eshopps nano skimmer
-150 watt Eheim Submersible Aquarium Heater
-2 current USA Ramp Timer Pro lights
-2 Hydor Koralia Nano Aquarium Circulation Pump
LiveStock:
-1 sleeper gold head goby
-2 Ocellaris Clownfish
-Green Star Polyp
-Variety of Zoa frags
-Acan brain coral
-Green Hairy Mushrooms
-Xenia pulse coral
- 1 Duncan coral head
- 2 head hammer (green tips)
-3 Nassarius Snails
-2 bumble bee snails
-1 cleaner shrimp
