Sundial snail

I founf a pretty large sundail snail in my green button polyps. i would like to know what are the chances that I have more of them in my tank?

chances are you might have them ,or it could of layed eggs ,just keep an eye out for them .they are easy to spot and really dont move too much or fast in that case

It's weired because I never seen it before and it's pretty big!!! I don't know how I missed it for so long!!!

They hide very well. I had one in my tank. Their eggs are usually found on the base of zoas and are white specks in a spiral pattern.

Tomorrow i am going to take the rock out and check. I hope I don't see any more of these ugly snails!!!

best time to see them is at nite ,when your zoas are closed ,use a flashlight look carefully between each poylp ,if you see anything that looks like a sundial snail ,out it gos

I looked at the same colony 10-15 minutes ago with a flash light and I didn't see any of those suckers:snail: . Just pods swimming around.
