Mixing salt

Hey all,
I just bought Tropic Marin Pro Reef salt and was curious to know how much to mix in a 5 gallon bucket and if you had any other advice.

That's what I generally use, it is usually 2.5 measuring cups if I remember correctly. I would highly suggest investing in a refractometer to measure your salinity. It should generally be between 1.024-1.026. Refractometers are about $20 on Amazon, you'll use it all the time.

Half cup salt to one gallon water. Or 7 cups salt to 15 gallons water.
Bring water up to temp, add pump, then salt, wait til water is clear. Ready.
