Ice Cap 660 questtion

I hooked up four bulbs to a ice cap ballast 660, my question is when one bulb goes out do all the lights stay off until you replace the bulb or are the rest suppose to stay on. i hooked up the same as in diagram

If 1 is burnt, they all will go out unless you replace that 1

Or You Can Wire It Up To Light The Three Bulbs Until You Get A Replacement...

thats a lot of work...
I usually just keep my old bulbs around as a "just in case". They might not be at their peak performance, but they work until I get another replacement

Shouldn't you be changing the bulbs out LONG before they burn out?

Sometimes bulbs burn out prematurely.

my bulbs were only 3months old.
