Sea grass outbreak?

What is this fresh hell?!?! Lol. I tried pitch black for almost a week and upper water movement only. Fish are getting stressed though so I went back to normal today.

Any idea what it is or how to get rid of it?

Hard to tell from the pics, but could be bryopsis. Is it stiff and wirey when you take it out of water? Maybe try Fluconazole.

I don't use chemicals. Can't pull it off the rock without pliers. I think it's very rooted

Looks like bryopsis and short of using medicine one of which was mentioned or Kent Magnesium you could try a blunt end sea hare or a bristletooth tang while removing as much as you can manually.
