I got a duncan a few weeks ago and it was doing well, but the past few days it hasn't been as happy and hasn't been opening up as much. I did get a new AI LED light so I chalked it up to acclimation, but upon closer examination today I saw the below dark mark on the branch of the duncan. I'm not sure if this is contributing to the coral's behavior, but wanted to ask about it.
I don't visually see any pests (e.g. flatworms), and I had dipped the duncan in Coral RX (along with all my other coral) before adding to the tank. Could this be a parasite, or some type of infection? Any insight would be appreciated.
Tested water multiple times this week, all parameters appear normal.
