Strawberry crab

Hi guys I found a strawberry crab in my tank. He must been a hitchhiker from some rocks I got off another member since those were the only live rocks I got to help restart my tank. All other rocks were dry. He been there 2 months before i spotted him, as I was passing my tank in the middle of the night with all lights off including house lights. I haven?t loose any corals or inverts. Any information on them please.

I've heard they're reef safe, but I don't trust any crabs.

I've had one for a very long time. Never see him. Always hiding even at night with lights off. Could be dead now actually...
But yea, he is/was reef safe for me.

+1 reef safe but they only come out at night when the lights are off.

Actually really funny, i saw it again last night just chillin on my overflow. Only about 1.5" and a year old, so they must not get too big.

had never seen/heard of this crab before and I looked it up on liveaquaria and they go for $30. Out of stock now but definitely prettier than other crabs. Reef safe according to them.
