Why not to do a water change when you are hungover
Why not to do a water change when you are hungover
- You will be tempted to take a shower after the water change. Bad Idea ? you stink now!
- Because your unshowered, hungover self is less desirable and accommodating than your non hungover self, your boyfriend is unlikely to help you with this project.
- Hangovers cause ADD. While siphoning the rock, you will get distracted by the aptasia in your tank and decide to kalk it.
- Your temporary loss of coordination will make getting the kalk into a syringe difficult. You will squirt it all over your face causing momentary panic about potential blindness and week long depression over the acne looking spots now on your cheek.
- You will forget you are still siphoning until you hear the sound of water flowing over the sides of your bucket onto the floor.
- Your boyfriend will look to see how you are doing and promptly leave.
- Your hungover self did not pick up the laundry so you only have one towel. You can either save it for your shower or use it to mop up the floor.
- While cleaning up the water, you will not realize that you siphoned more than you intended and all of your coral are high and dry. When you add the fresh clean salt water back to your tank it will now be full of coral mucus.
- Your clean water isn?t really clean. Your drunk self last night left the lid off the water bucket which is now filled with cat fur.
- Because you decided to wash the floor with dirty tank water, you no longer have enough clean water to fill the tank back up.
- BONUS! Once tank is finally full, you will turn the power head back on realizing only after you have killed your blue mushrooms that the water is flowing directly over the spot where you killed the aptasias and spreading chunks of kalk around your tank.
