Currently running my favorite 400w radium + t5 but I ran very successful SPS reefs with all led (radion g4 pros) and all t5(Ati powermodule). I think radion g4 + t5 combo is the best of both worlds. Nothing beats 400w radium, but no one wants to deal with the heat.

Your tank looks great by the way. 400watts is a lot of heat and electric cost for sure.

True; T5 and LED gives the wide coverage, punch, and controllability without the heat and electric cost of MH.

Heat sucks yes, but I built my cube around a single halide. 400w on a 115g tank for 6 hours for having the best possible lighting really isn't very costly in the long run. I never need a chiller keeping ambient room temp 70 degrees all year. On a future tank I'm going build it not as wide so led + t5 fixures will cover properly. In a deep 300g tank I would have to spend 6k in radions.... no thanks!
