I wanted to know how you guys minimize the amount of salt creep that occurs in your tank. I just stared setting up my tank that I got for x-mass and I just notice the salt creep. Also I notice that most of you do not use a glass canopy on your tanks how do you protect your lights?
one more question were do you put your air supply?

surface water movement, overflows, skimmers ect all provide oxygen to the water. Air pumps not needed in a SW tank =0) And most lights have some sort of splash guard on them. Besides minimizing bubbles on the top of the water, and minimizing the splashing there is nothing you can do with SW creep. Its bound to happen.

the plexiglass would eventually be covered in salt and reduce light tremendously.. its not a good idea at all... i have my t5's with nothing protecting em there about 8" off the top of the water and i dont have any problems with salt creep on em ;)...
