Inverts Shrimp molts

peppermint shrimp have been molting probably every other week. I took the ones out that were stuck on the pump. Do people normally leave them in? I have one thats not floating around. Will probably take it out just for cleanliness. I was wondering if its any benefit to leaving it in......I know I threw a shell from a jumbo shrimp in the tank during cycling (i couldn't see throwing a full shrimp in. looked messy).

I pull them out if I can reach them without dismantling the rockwork. Never really had a problem from the ones I can't reach.

Fished it out. Its only going to clog up the pumps once it starts breaking up
