Sexy Shrimp

Well I just got a pair of sexy shrimp a couple of days ago and i havent seen them since....the first day they were cool....humping around like usual...i noticed my sixline hovering around them though but he let them be...now I havent really seen any of them...could they be in hiding...usually when i feed the tank all my livestock comes out...shrimps, snails, crabs, fishys, I hope that my sixline didn't make a snack out of them cause if so then he'll be on the market soon...

i didn't see mine for a week or two when i got mine unless i really looked at my rockwork. They will come out eventually once they find a coral they like and get used to the tank. Mine are hosting my plate coral and my torch. They are now up and about but usually hide during the day unless they feel protected.

Their anemone shrimp but with nice coloration (not clear like the other anemone shrimp) and sexxy b/c they wave their tail. Rawr.. They don't always host coral per say. One of mine sort of stays under the torch for protection but won't go ontop b/c it gets stuck to the coral. Anything wavy/flowy or that has some sort of protection for them. They stay on the plate coral b/c i target feed it and its shaped wierd and makes a dome that they sit inside during the night between the plate and the sand.

When I put my sexy shrimp it was like I rang the dinner bell my 6line came out like lighting grabed the shrimp and draged on the rocks to it riped it in small enought peace to eat.....
after that I wont waist my money on them again they were cool for about 1 sec....

my sixline is about 2 inches...the shrimps where small just about bigger than zoos...i guess i'll check again tonight...and see whats up....

My 6 line, 2.5 inches, ate my sexxies with a lightening storm. Instantly both sexxies were a snack for the vicious wrasse.....HATE that fish.
By the way if any 1 wants it, I am selling it to any 1 who has a more aggressive tank.....$15..... can negotiate.

Wow everyone has some nasty six lines.. Mine never bothers anything. The cleaner shrimp even jumps on him and cleans him every now and then.

Jho, I had the same experience. My six line had a expensive meal when i introduced the sexy shrimps.

Once, my camel shrimps had a expensive meal when I introduced a cleaner shrimp. I got rid of my camel shrimp in order to have a cleaner.
