Hey guys, havent posted in a while, i have a 25 lagoon tank AIO running for about 2 years now, i have been battling hair algea for the past 6 months but i cant beat this beast
im removing my sand bed slowoly during each water change as i thought it would help beat this beast but to also become a no sand bed tank

doing major testing today will follow up with all readings

25 lagoon innovative marine
AI hydra 26 hd
mp10
dry rock, softie corals such as kenya trees, zoas and gsp
1 clownfish pellet feeding every other day 3-4 pellets
gfo reactor and carbon reactor
ATO
aquamaxx protien skimmer

5 gallon every friday weekly water changes with removing sand

Salinity 1.23
Nitrate 0 -- second nitrate test from different test company = 0
phosphates 0
KH 179-196ppm
calcium 460-480ppm
PH = 7.8
nitrite = 0
ammonia = 0

Make sure you follow the instructions.
Powder that's in the pill goes in not the pill.
Turn off list for 4 weeks.
No water change
No Skimmer
No UV
No carbon
No filter socks or media
Feed fish only what you see goes in to their mouth and none to the sand. Feed every other day or 3 days.
Keep GFO running and Ozone if you used it.
After 4 weeks water change of 30% at least and again a week later same amount. Keep your feeding every other day or less and only what you see they eat.
Post your before and after pics for reference for yourself so you can see what it did and how fast it did it if you stick to the plan.
