urchin issue

Does anyone have a solution for hair algae that is growing on a sea urchin? I would like to move it to a new tank but fear it will spread the algae.

Is it growing on it or is it just holding it for camouflage Mine carry everything they can in the tank. When I?ve wanted to take corals off of it etc I just gently pull it off until it let?s go after a few seconds...

+1 to it grabbing EVERYTHING. just try to pull it off.

Thank you both, it does seem to be growing on it. I had a tank failure too long to explain but urchin and some other stalwarts have survived the urchin is the only one with issues I will try the removing by hand and keep my fingers crossed. I'm not very versed on this but assume it has to stay in the water while I try to pull off the hair algae.

Urchin picked it up and now it?s growing. With proper lighting, nutrient levels and clean up crew, not a problem. Let it be
