Jbj led diy?

Hey folks, I looked in the DIY forum and didn't find a thread about upgrading my 24g JBJ LED lights. They can grow zoos, etc. But not sps. I would like to be able to start a few of those. I have seen options of just taking the hood off and hanging something else over the tank. I would prefer to use the hood and replace or add high output LEDs to the existing hood. Suggestions?
