Anyone put a refuge in a AIO tank like a nuvo fusion

Hey guys, anone convert a compartment in a AIO tank to have a refuge, any links or help would be appreciated
torn between getting a external refuge or converting compartment in nuvo.

Im on my third nuvo (50G).

I've tried it on the last two a 30 & 40 G and I didn't see any added benefits as the sections are too small for any substantial nutrient reduction.

I have an algae reactor coming in mail tomorrow actually for my new tank, which will me much more efficient.
