Bristle worm help

Just noticed a big one tonight.Must of came form the fuge I emptied out some time ago and he escaped into the main tank.He got big and now I'm worried.I wondered what happened to the two skunk shrimp that disappeared.Should I use a trap or a wrasse?I keep a peaceful tank so no aggressive fish.I had a six line once and he was okay.

Get a Wrasse. He'll take care of your problem. No doubt.
Is he causing any other problems?

I don't think those guys cause much trouble--or I'd have no fish in my tank at all. I have monster ones (well over 15"), baby ones (ummm...I overfeed a bit) and all they do is clean up the extra food. I'd leave them.

i believe in the power of the worms - i've heard tons of folks say that they do only good - eat the dead and dying and take great care of detritus.

on the other hand, I'd be nervous of a 15 inch worm... but that's just cuz i get the heeby-jeeebys...

my 40br must have hundreds. they only come out when i feed and i've never had any problems. great scavangers
