A Sad Day for the Hobby

This may not mean much to most of you, but I feel the need to post this. My dear friend, former Pratt colleague, and long time hobbyist and author Doug Robbins passed away yesterday after a lengthy illness. He was a committed environmentalist, and champion of a responsible, educational and sustainable hobby. Some of you may remember Doug's long standing monthly Media Review columns in Aquarium Frontiers and Advanced Aquarist.

Believe me when I say we lost a good one... in every sense of the word.

Amen to that - and with one going many more will come - let's hope they shed as much light and happiness on people as Doug has - I do't know him personally but have heard many a conversation where his name came up.
