AIO tank question

MR,

This may sound silly but I have a quick question. Have always ran a tank with a sump and just picked up a IM nuvo 40. What do you guys use for filtration in those chambers? I have to get a skimmer but what else do you use.

Got a 29 biocube...have filter floss and chemi-pure blue. No skimmer.

A carbon reactor, an IM skimmer, but for aeration only.

I have an Arid 18 running off my return pump (vectra s1).

I use floss in the overflow, with in-tank media holder cup things, and some biological media ( aquaforest life bio fil or similar) or rock under those floss holders.

I have a Nuvo 30L and use filter floss and chemi pure blue. I have the intank media baskets.

I also have few pieces of live rock in the bottom shelves of the media baskets.

No skimmer yet but may get one. So far I haven?t needed one.

how many packs of chemi-pure are you using? looks like one pack is only good for 5gals

I use one 5.5 oz bag and change it every 4 months.
