I am looking to purchase a chiller and would like some input. What brand and size should I purchase. I will be setting up a 75 gallon tank with 30 gallon sump. There will be 2 MH 175W bulbs, and an eheim 1262 return pump. I would like to keep a variety of SPS and LPS and at least 1 Tridacna clam. In July & August, my fishroom will heat up to around 86 degrees. I plan on keeping the tank around 78 degrees. All input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you i n advance.

I'm running the JBJ 1/5 on a 90 with 2 250w MH, 30g sump a million pumps and it keep my tank at 77 -78 with no problem. Room temp is a constant 78 - 79 (wife likes it hot). It's not that loud when it comes on but it does produce alot of heat.

If you do need a chiller, you'll need about a 1/4 hp chiller for 110g with an ambient temperature of 86 and a desired tank water temp of 78. It will need to be in a separate room and plumbed back into your fish room. I agree with Nsr, get an A/C. Even if you go with a chiller, I can't imagine how many pounds you must lose working in a high humidity fish room with that temp of 86. :headache:
