So I have been losing lps corals placed on my sandbed (acanthophelia, Scolys, etc..) for some time now. All my parameters test fine. Waiting on triton results (long story there they have all kinds of shipping issues). Another experienced Reefer told me based on the fact that they have been dying off one by one it must be one single predator. I watch my tank and have never seen a fish picking and until tonight had never seen anything I couldn?t identify as harmless. So look at the pictures. It?s a clear worm like creature that I could see about 3/4? of coming out of my sand eating a reef roids paste off a chalice that I feed via syringe. The body is so clear I could see the food in its digestive tract. Any help is appreciated. I tried scooping a handful of sand out to catch it but no luck. Sorry about the crumby pictures. I did my best.
