Hey guys so I have been out of the hobby for a while and my aqua illuminations sol blue is starting to give me a lot of problems. So I am in need of a new light ASAP.

I?m not looking to grow corals as I?m planing to convert it
Over to freshwater soon.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks

I would also be interested in buying a used one.

Have you considered just putting up a T5 fixture or retro if you have a canopy since you will be converting over to freshwater?
A lot easier on the purse and simple to change bulbs for the correct spectrum when you complete the conversion.
What's your SOL doing, flashing - shutting down?

I like the leds they use less electric and they don?t get as hot as the t5s do. I also like the idea of not changing the bulbs. Yes the ai?s are flashing. It comes on normal time stays on for a little bit the. Starts going on and off. Sometimes the whole unit just turns off. Is there a way to fix this problem? The light was working great.

Is the fan turning on after the fixture gets warm say within 7~10 minutes?
If the fan does turn on, then the 1st thing I would try replacing is the power supply.
Do you have more then one fixture that you can switch power supply to rule out?
