Pump diffuser

Ok I have these in my tank on my returns. They attach to loc line and are made of plastic. They have no moving parts and create a random flow pattern. I broke a piece and can’t remember what they’re called to order new ones. Any help???

Was planning to get this as well. How do you like them?

Good

I actually like them a lot. I had the spin streams first and they are finicky. Because of the moving parts they do freeze up occasionally and the rubber adapters that come with it aren’t that secure so they pop off occasionally. I have a Red Sea tank so I had to buy the metric adapter for these but they fit rather well and definitely move the water around instead of a constant stream in one direction. I have them on my main return and the pump that comes through the rear wall. I take them off every once in a while to clean and scrape off coraline. I got them because with nothing on the pumps they were blasting sand around my tank in the spots where the flow would constantly hit. Not an issue anymore. I’m sure I sacrifice some flow due to increased head pressure but I’m ok with that because I have plenty of water movement. Hope this helps. I would definitely buy them again.

More good about them

So I ordered the part I needed and of course when it gets here I realize I ordered the wrong size. I told them of my dilemma and they agreed to ship me out the right part free of charge and I can keep the wrong one. Such a breath of fresh air in a hobby where so many vendors look to squeeze every last penny out of you. So I have a spare 16mm to 3/4” adaptor. Pm If u need it.
