Question for you MRC Skimmer Guys.
I have a newly designed system that's about complete. Finishing up some last touches.
The way the sump was designed... the skimmer pulls from intake side of the sump and returns into the fuge (middle) section of the sump. Unfortunately the return is just under the water level, so what I did was use a 1.5" T vertically and ran a pipe up just past the max water level so the skimmer doesn't back siphon. The problem comes with the 1000gph that's being let out under water in the fuge. What do you guys do to knock the bubbles down? I have a 4" filter sock I'm going to try to rig up to use but maybe someone has a better idea?
I have my setup link in my signature.
