GE All Purpose silicone

I resealed the vertical seams on a 200 gal tank lastweek with GE %100 silicone. I'm not satisfied with the amount used on each seam. Could I apply more over the exciting application at this time?

Silicone doesn?t attach to silicone. To do it correctly you have to remove the old stuff clean really well and reapply. I did one pane on my tank too thin and it leaked two weeks later. Had to redo it by removing it completely. Buy extra and return if you don?t use it. Good luck
