Calcium rising but alkalinity not

Hey guys so I?m wondering why my Calcium is rising but not my alkalinity . I?m using Kalk. And my Mag. is high at 1600 and my cal stayed the same at 470 but my Alk dropped from 12.6 to 10.4 . Can anyone help me with this

12.6 is on the high side, 10.4 is actually pretty good, as are your other levels, though a little high.

I run 7 to 7.5 dKH only SPS, SUPER happy for many years, STOP dosing Kallkawasser.
Do water change ( use Tropic Marine Pro Salt), keep Mag. around 1,300.

Are you using any type of denitrator ..if your susing a sulfer denitrator then that will def use up alk ...also are you hand dosing 2 parts,or have a cal reactor,doser?..if you are using a dose u may have to up ur alk to balance your cal...there's a good reef calculator floating around I'll see if I can find it for you

When u use the calculator it will tell you the balanced alk to cal ..try and keep them balanced ..that's the key
