My pods are huge and they are actually starting to eat the tentacles off my rbta's in my anemone tank as crazy as that sounds. I'm going absolutely crazy trying to catch them at night and need a fast solution.

I bought a Yellow Coris Wrasse and he has helped some but now they hide through the day and come out at night. Does anyone know of a nocturnal fish that eats large pods but leaves my anemones alone? I do not have any corals just anemones.

And yes they are eating the tentacles not dead stuff or algae 100% sure.

Then run a uv and reduce extra food.

Pod population is directly related to available amount of food

Pods are also cold blooded. So the warmer the temp, the more active and the more they reproduce.

Hungry Cardinal fish would be your best bet

Defrost some food in a bit of tank water. When lights are out for a while dump in just the water to get the pods out.

Lol yes It's huge. I have a wrasse that takes care of them during the day and it has made a big dent on the population. Only the bigger ones are still around and they come out after dark. I'm waiting for my lfs to receive some Benggai Cardinals this week and hopefully they will help after dark
