Previously I've ordered with atlantis and I wasnt happy with the shipment. It was delayed for over 18 i think or so hours, and the water was freezing since the order was near the winter months. Corals were all brown and looked nothing like the photos. Has taken over a month to finally color up one of the corals that didnt RTN / bleach from the shipment. I agree w/ spykes in that their colors do not accurately depict what you will receive. But hopefully the coral will color back up.

Is that all that you ordered just the red milli?

I understand your frustration. I've been there. Once I order two acros that from the pic were blue and purple and when I got them they were light brown. I was also pissed since they were my first SPS colonies. I e-mail the vendor with some pictures and he told me not to worry. He was right, after 2-3 weeks they colored up just like in the original pictures.

This is the problem with ordering online. For comon corals like a pink milli, you're better off dealing with local vendors. I'm sure the reason you'll get is "shipping stress" which it very well could be, but that is too easy a way to pawn off brown corals :) Atlantis charges PREMIUM prices. You should demand the best from them.
wow, all too familiar theme...sorry to hear CC...i agree rich, premium prices = premium expectations

also, seems with the lack of customer service and poor feedback their banner is still flying...this is wat i mean, seems so long as u pay the man u can do wat u want...

FWIW my milles fluctuate color faster than any of my other SPS.

It's hard to say it's not shipping stress that caused the browning, especially in wild colonies...

say want you want about atlantis...but they always have the best selection of aquacultured frags IMO. I only tried wild colonies once (not from atlantis)and after that experience i am strictly an aquacultured shopper only...I like to stick w/ the tride and true frags that have made many hobbyists happy w/ their color in captivity.

i have ordered from there a few time in the past, i ordered a maxima from there once and got a crocea, the zoo frags are not all that for the money they get and the cs is junk so i am done with atlantis. slamajama said it best.

yeah they are pricey but they carry all of the heavy hitter LE corals that fetch a steep price no matter what vendor you get them from.

I havn't found anyone else w/ a selection of LE stuff of that magnatude.

Sorry about the doodoo sticks man. That crap always kills me. Its not the first time members on this side of the coast end up with brown corals from AA. But on the bright side. here is Joleen from AA :D :bunnies: Always makes peeps feel better.

Nice but.... bouncing Betty brightens my day. She aint got nothing on Betty.

Oh and I wasn't too happy with a yuma I got from them . Been trying to keep it alive since the last frag swap. It lasted long but screwed over other softies by spreadin bacterial infection. I ended up calling it quits today. Its mouth litterally melted away while it remained intact, usually ive seen this b4 and they are melted by the next day. This one managed about to go about 3-4 months like that. I didn't think it was goin to make when the first night I put it in my tank. Yet I never thought it would last that long
