Leaving Equipment in White Distilled Vinegar?

Hello everyone, wanted to clean some equipment for resale. Can I just leave it soaking in the vinegar for the night? I work midnight to 8am, so im thinking of just leaving the wave maker in the solution, till I get back home. Will that be ok?

Also what's the recipe? How many parts of V to water? Thanks

That?s what I do with most of my equipment. I usually do like 50/50. my skimmer I soak it 75v/25w for a day or two

50/50 mix overnight loosens even the hardest coralline. soak longer if needed.

just be careful to use a 50/50 mix. vinegar by itself can be acidic enough to begin to pit the surface of rubber gaskets. I left a gasket in a bucket of pure vinegar and after I realized 2 weeks later, it was a mess. pitting can happen even after 24 hours.

Hey everyone thanks for the advice, yeah I do more water, than vinegar and also had it in for 9 hours only, and it worked very well. was able to brush off the algae/coraline with out any issues.
