Thanks for reading , I have a situation I getting green hair algae only but only in my refugium , not in my sump nor my display it?s not on my cheato it?s only growing on my wall it?s not a lot but it?s there,, should I remove ,, my tank is not effected at all .. levels are all good as well , I run a skimmer and 2 lit fishies pho?s am w pellets , as well as carbon , any advice plz

i'd let it grow and scrape off when you do water change. as long as it's not dying, it won't leach nutrients back into tank. just another way to safely export PO4 and NO3 without chemicals.

Thank you for your response and your spot on after ur response and exactly what I found .. thank for the direction .. I?m like sponge-bob these days sucking up all good info given by people like urself

As long as it's confined to the fuge that's a good thing, you basically have an algae scrubber. Scrape some off with each WC but let it continue to grow, this is a great way to export nutrients.
