I was wondering what would everyone suggest on pumps for a 120 4x2x2

Option one
Gyre fx330
Mp10wqd x 2

Gyrefx330
JEbaos sow 15 x 2
This option to be more cost friendly
More money for coral

Gyrefx 330
Nero5 x 2

Gyrefx350
Gyrefx 330

If you can throw in suggestions for return pumps
Leaning towards jebaos aswell

thanks in advance

What kind of corals? Mp10s won?t be enough unless it?s a fish only system. I also doubt they would fit your glass thickness.

I personally recommend using a reliable name brand especially for return pumps. If the pump fails you?ll be out of luck quickly. Tunze, Fluval SP series, Sicce, Eheim are all good pumps that are relatively cheap.

My 90gl display, I use 2 Jebao cp120 @ 40% power, 2 mp40 @ 30% power and L1 return @ 60% power. All that give me around 20,000gph turn over at 100% but at my setting I should get 70x turn over. I tried 4 mp40 and it was too much. Too much directional flow.
I believe in over size pumps running on lower rpm than a small pump at full speed. Large pump at slower speed is less wear and tear, less noise and less heat! And plan on future tank upgrade :)
