lol, they gonna put phosphates in my heater...

i dont even want another finnex at this point, but i already paid for it and only got a month out of it, so may as well get the free one (probably refurbished) and hope 4 d best. although at times i wonder if its even worth the cost of the shipping

I'm p***ed at the point you made about the digital Finnex. Now, in addition to worrying about a failure, I can't even put it on a controller. It does, however, for it's short life on active duty, manage to display the tank temp to precisely 1 degree lower than my thermometer. I just lowered my set point to 76, which should give me floor at 77 (I like my thermometer better. It matches my others' to within 0.5 degrees). I guess I'll have to wait and see how this potential purchase gone wrong works out.

Besides Albert, I don't think they would do anything as obvious a phosphate in the heater. There are other subtle ways to get to you after you posted this thread.:theyareon
