Pinpoint Ca monitor

I bought a Pinpoint Calcium monitor about 2 months ago and I am very disappointed with it. I don't know if mine is defective or not but it take a long time to get a value of the ca levels. Also as soo I move the probe the values change . Am I doing something wrong? Please someone help here.

Never used one... the reviews for it on Marine Depot are that people are generally disapointed with them.

I did read the instrucion and I did the calibration 4-5 times.
