This helps a lot, I do have one question though. If you're always supposed to dose the same amount of alk and cal but the cal is high and alk is low how do you go about fixing that?
My case in particular is that I have 502 calcium with 8.7 dkh. Even though my alkalinity is within range I'd like to bump it up a bit but that will mean calcium is going to go even higher (if I understand correctly). I'm doing weekly water changes with ESV salt, can I adjust the amount of component A or B to fix that issue?
