I have had mine for 2 days now, so far he has eaten Formula A and Prawn, I will probablly stick with feeding him prawn or something of the sort, because it is less expensix, but every time he smells food, he dashes to the oposite side of the aquarium. ow often do you feed, and what do you feed it?

Do you mean Brittle Star? I feed mine chunks of shrimp and I use a turkey baster to squirt brine shrimp soaked in selecon his way. He eats about every other day, and has grown quite a bit.

Keep them fed and they will stay away from your fish.

i have had a serpent star(about the same thing with no bristles ) for about 2-3 years. i dont directly feed him anything. he eats left overs that the fish dont get. when ever i feed he comes out and gets his fair share. he has grown to about a foot across and seems to be extremely hardy.
