Cynaria's

We bought a Cynaria it's an awesome creature. We were told to feed it silversides & small frozen fish. Another pet store said not to feed it, in the wild it is a filter feeder and it's too slow to catch it's own fish. Does anyone know what to really do?

I love cynarina, especially red ones. Got six in my 180. I direct feed mine scallops about once a week. Other aquarist do not direct feed at all.

I have notice that if one get a little beat-up, sad-looking or damaged, direct feeding SEEMS to help. This is only anecdotal info.
