I have heard many Rio horror stories, and would never chance thousands of dollars worth of livestock to them. However, I wonder why they don't make an effort to change the design and fix the problem. It has to hurt sales.
sorry to say I had a rio 2100 hundred in my tank for circulation.125 gal.tank. while I was camping for 4 days having a good time bbq food , my rio was at home bbq fish and every other thing in my tank.by the time I got home I was in a race to save what was left, and try to curve the nitrite amonia cycle. saved my maroon gold bar clown and yellow tang and blue damsel.other fish and coral lost. trying my luck with MAG pumps.
My question is... given the fact that most retailers are aware of this problem, why do they continue to sell them?
Why not post a warning to your valued customers?
Why continue to let your customers and their fish suffer?
