I need to find a good sifter as well. Will I have any problems keeping gobies with my algae blenny? Sites say that the blenny shouldn't be kept with other 'like' fish. Do they mean other blennies or are gobies included since they are similar in shape?

I'm the best major sifter using a small rake. It's a lousy job, but someone has to do it, and the ceriths and nassarius don't live up to their reputation. Maybe they posted falcified degrees.
I'm full up on fish, and my tank and sandbed are too small to go with a conche or a starfish, so I'm not left with any good solutions that I'm aware of. If someone has an idea on a difter for a 1" bed in a 24g tank, please give me some ideas, because managing the sand is really a pain.

Yellow watchman ( not that great of a sifter but some )I just added 1 fighting conch ,and have about 8 nassaius snails in a 65 gallon tank. I also had a sand sifting star but after about a year he melted away.
